Once again and for the second year, were fortunate to be able to hold a spectacular lunch and fashion parade at the multi-award winning life-style retirement village, courtesy of the co-owners Mark and Evette Moran.
Our fashion parade featured resort wear from the Moore Design Collective at Miranda organised by our new committee member Collette Wilsher. The gorgeous garments were beautifully modelled and accessorised and can be viewed in our Gallery.
Champagne and canapes were followed by a delicious lunch and served with accompanying De Bortoli wines.
Mr Geoff Taylor, CEO of CAPS (Child Abuse Prevention Service) addressed our guests and thanked the Cornucopia Committee for their ongoing support and outlined the important difference we make to their work.
The Morans surprised us, yet again, with a further generous donation of $20,000 on the day. Evette and Mark were sincerely thanked by Dorothy Ryan, our President who also acknowledged that this event was again a huge success.
