9 December 2016. 2016 Cheque Presentation.
On 9 December, our 2016 Cheque Presentation was held again at the Royal Oak Hotel, Balmain with many thanks to Maureen Thornett for her kind hospitality.
Our President Mrs Dorothy Ryan OAM presented the cheques, distributing funds of $80,000 raised during 2016, to representatives of Child Protection Units at Westmead Children’s Hospital, The Royal Hospital for Women, The Sydney Children’s Hospital and the Child Abuse Prevention Service (CAPS).
At our meeting we warmly welcomed two new Committee Members – Ellen Klees and Sue Smith who will bring new experiences and energy to our activities.
