Our final function for the year was an amazing champagne lunch and kaftan fashion parade held at the multi-award winning life-style retirement village, courtesy of the co-owners Mark and Evette Moran. The event was held on the rooftop garden and Orangerie overlooking spectacular harbour and ocean views.
Our Guest of Honour was the committee’s patron Mrs Linda Hurley, wife of the Governor who charmed us all once again. The Morans also surprised us with a further generous donation of $20,000 on the day, which contributed enormously in making this event a huge success.
