The venue was spectacular at the Sealevel Restaurant at Cronulla overlooking the ocean. A beautiful sunny day and the room was filled to capacity with happy guests and supporters.
Champagne on arrival, guests seated and welcomed by our President Maureen who acknowledged the work of our Committee Members especially Ellen, Sue and Vivienne for all their hard work in organising this new event to our calendar. The restaurant provided a delicious seafood lunch which we all enjoyed along with wines from our sponsor De Bortoli.
Our Guest Speaker was Dr Ben Balzer GP from the Children’s Hospital, Randwick, who discussed the success with his online counselling forum for young people.
Following our raffles and auctions, our guests were then entertained by a “Roving Magician” who impressed all with his sleight of hand.
At the conclusion of a wonderful day, Maureen thanked our guests, supporters and committee for another event well done.
