The winter sun was shining on a spectacular blue ocean at Cronulla. The venue set the scene for our second Sealevel luncheon which was at full capacity.
Maureen welcomed our guests and supporters thanking our Committee Members Sue, Vivienne and Ellen for all their hard work – once again in putting the whole day together which included organising the restaurant, entertainment and the silent auction and raffle prizes.
Our special guests included Dr Ben Balzer from Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick discussing his work with the Child Protection Unit which was quite heartfelt.
Again the entertainment, by popular request was the amazing Roving Magician who moved from table to table weaving his magic. Small children amongst the guests were beautiful to watch as they were mesmerised with his sleight of hand!
Of course, we all enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring seafood and beef dishes accompanied by our wonderful wine sponsor De Bortoli. How could the day not be a success!
Lunch was followed by a selection of silent auction prizes and our customary raffle”, with guests delighted with their “goodies”.
Maureen again brought the day to its conclusion with her thanks to our guests, supporters and committee. A happy day was enjoyed by all.
