Saturday 27 May Cornucopia signature Race Day..
The Cornucopia signature Race Day was held again on Saturday 27 May. The Champagne Bar at Royal Randwick was at capacity for our function.
Our guests enjoyed a fun day with an exciting race program, beautiful food and wines provided by De Bortoli. Together with great auction and raffle prizes, this made for a successful fundraising day for the prevention of child abuse. Our Guest Speaker Ms Trish O’Brien, Chief Executive of The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation spoke to us of the way in which funds raised by the Cornucopia Committee support one of their programs CASBAM – (Child Abuse Survivors Becoming Amazing Mums). Alana Patience (of Dancing with the Stars) was our charming MC and also entertained our guests with an amazing dance segment with her partner Tristan Macmanus.
