On Thursday, March 3rd, following an invitation from Dr Dimitra Tzioumi, Director, Dorothy Ryan OAM, President, and several members of the Committee visited The Child Protection Unit at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick. The Unit is made up of a group of outstanding professionals (doctors, social workers and psychologists) who are committed to the health and well-being of children who are at risk of harm due to neglect, physical, sexual and emotional abuse and domestic violence. The newly refurbished therapy rooms were bright and cheerful and provide a very welcoming environment for the children and adolescents who attend the unit.
