2019 Luncheon and Fashion Parade at Moran’s of Vaucluse

14 November 2019

On 14 November, for the third year, we enjoyed this wonderful event held in Moran’s Botanica Restaurant. The Moran’s showcased this beautiful venue featuring a spectacular garden themed décor. This restaurant is also open to the public.

A delicious meal including Seared Yellowtail Kingfish, Free-range Chicken, Stuffed Zucchini flowers was enjoyed, to name just a few, with the focus on organic produce.

Maureen announced the start of our fashion parade which featured swim and resort fashions by:

  • Monte & Lou designer swimwear based in the northern beaches and sold online.
  • D.J.’S Resort Wear fashions by Melissa from Moore Design Collective, located in Miranda, which is a carefully curated collection of Australian and International fashion, jewellery, art and home décor with a passion for colour, pattern, ethically made and hand crafted.

Our Guest Speaker was Stacey Black, a Senior Social Worker who has been supporting children and their families for over 20 years. For the past 13 years she has been working the Child Protection Unit at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and is currently the Out of Home Care Coordinator for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.

Ryan Clifton conducted a spirited auction and together with our raffle, we again succeeded in raising much need funds to assist the treatment and prevention of child abuse.
