17 August. Royal Oak Luncheon
Another successful fundraising luncheon was held again at the Royal Oak Hotel Balmain. Beverley Hurwitz from the Royal Hospital for Women addressed our guests on the progress of CASBAM (child abuse survivors becoming amazing mums) which Julia Crowe and Beverley started last year. Our MC for the event was Jacinta Tynan, Media Personality who engaged our guests and helped to ensure a fun day for all. During the lunch, a fashion parade featuring Trelise Cooper fashions from Strelitzia at Balmain and Neil Grigg Millinery from Paddington added to the glamour of the day. The room looked spectacular with spring flowers on each table. A big thank you again to Maureen Thornett, Owner of the Royal Oak Balmain and Treasurer of the Cornucopia Committee who has hosted this event over a number of years.
